Vegan coconut pudding

It is a recipe for vegan coconut flan, an easy dessert to prepare. Besides coconut milk is used the almond, but worth other vegetable milks. First explains how making candy and then the pudding.

Serves: 4

• 2 cups sugar for the caramel
• 400 ml of coconut milk
• 4 cups almond milk
• 3 tablespoons agar-agar powder

Preparation


We will mix candy in a skillet over medium heat half cup sugar with 1 tablespoon water first. We will remove constantly until a brown color and density of liquid caramel. Then bathe the bottom of containers for flan with caramel.

After we boil the coconut milk with almond milk in a medium saucepan and add the agar-agar and 2 cups of sugar. Mix well to dissolve the ingredients.

Before putting the flan mixture into the containers we cool the pot and its contents putting in a larger bowl of cold water. Will remove until the mixture cools. The then we pour into containers that have caramel flan.

Let cool the custards in the fridge to solidify before serving.

We can try different vegetable milks instead of the kernel, such as oats or even soy. Recipe amounts to about 4 give coconut puddings.
