Braised cabbage

It is as simple as delicious recipe. Braised red cabbage with a touch of paprika is a traditional recipe vegan and we can enjoy throughout the year.

Serves: 4

• 1 kilo of cabbage (approx.)
• 4 garlic cloves
• 1 onion
• 1 tablespoon paprika (sweet or spicy to taste)
• 1 of vinegar
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Pepper and salt

Preparation

Cut the cabbage into strips and wash under running water. Set it to cook with a little salt for about 10-15 min., until tender.

In a frying pan wide enough to heat two tablespoons olive oil. Peel and chop garlic with the onion cut into strips. Add the tablespoon of paprika, we stroll with wooden spoon and add the cabbage follow immediately after. Stir with spoon, season and add a generous splash of vinegar.


We left the fire to medium heat and let stirring occasionally for about 15-20 minutes. And he is ready to serve. In the photo we have accompanied a few boiled potatoes. Bon Appetit!
