Vegan cheese spreads

You will be surprised how incredibly easy it is making this vegan cheese at home. It is a cheese spread white guy who calls Philadelphia

Natural soy yogurt.

Difficulty:
Easy

Ingredients

• Natural soy yogurt (unsweetened)
• 1 dishcloth pure cotton cloth or gauze (or similar)

Preparation

We'll use a towel or gauze-like fabric as the one used to strain cheese traditionally. Before use it, we will make sure that it is properly cleaned.

Post the soy yogurt in the center of the cloth and then will fold up the ends to form a pouch that will close with a rubber or tying with string.

We will put the bag in a sieve and this over a bowl to collect the fluid that will drain the yogurt. We will put everything in the refrigerator and leave it about 8 hours. After this time we will see that yogurt has lost its liquid and has run us a vegan cream cheese with a perfectly creamy.

We can use the cheese as we have obtained or add a little salt. They can also be added to taste pepper, herbs, and garlic powder ... anything we like. We can even add chopped olives or capers to make a savory cheese spread for canapés.

Comments Recipe

So that the flavor is neutral similar to a fresh cheese is important that the soy yogurt is unsweetened.

This cheese is preserved only two days in the refrigerator.

You can add flavor to the cheese with spices you want. You can add pepper, dill, cumin, etc.
