Oatmeal for breakfast banana porridge

Recipe for breakfast porridge with banana. It is a simple dish like porridge with banana oatmeal.

Preparation: 5 min.

Ingredients for 1 person

• 1 ripe banana
• 1 cup rolled oats
• Maple syrup (alternatively molasses or sugar)
• Cinnamon
• Salt
• Boiling water

Preparation

Mash the banana with a fork and place in a bowl, add the oats and cover with boiling water.

Depending on the type of oatmeal we have at home (if they are softer or harder) were undone by mixing with a fork or not. If you do not fall apart, you can put the bowl in the microwave for 12 minutes.

Add a pinch of salt (serves to highlight the sweet flavors), sliced banana, maple syrup and cinnamon to taste. If you do not have maple syrup, you can sweeten it with a little sugar or molasses.


Eat hot. If a thinner consistency is desired, you can add a dash of soy milk.
